American Idol To Miss J-LO
Jennifer Lopez has announced that she will not be returning to the judges’ panel of the popular reality show – American Idol. She announced this Friday July 13th on host Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show a day after another judge Steven Tyler declared he was leaving.
I really have been torn,” said Lopez, who has been juggling her music, film and Idol duties with motherhood to twins
“When I signed on to Idol [in 2010], I signed on to do one year. I wound up doing two years because I fell in love with the show. I didn’t know I would be so moved emotionally . . . it was just such a lovely surprise in my life to do it.”
‘I have my movies and my music and my this and that and it all kind of worked together for a while, but it gets just more complicated’, JLo said.
‘And as the kids get a little bigger … I started feeling like something had to give, something has to give. And that’s where I think I am right now’, she explained.
With Tyler and Lopez out of the picture, other celebrity candidates are already being considered to Join Randy Jackson at the Idols; sources say Mariah Carey is being listed as an option. Others include Charlie Sheen and Adam Lambert
